The Moyer’s Leopard Wrasse, scientifically known as Macropharyngodon moyeri, is a beautifully patterned species featuring a mosaic of green, blue, and black spots with a distinct, leopard-like appearance. This peaceful wrasse is well-suited for reef aquariums, as it poses no threat to corals and is generally safe around invertebrates. While stunning in appearance, it can be somewhat delicate and may require a mature, well-established tank with live rock for foraging and a sandy substrate for burrowing. The Moyer’s Leopard Wrasse thrives in aquariums with plenty of hiding spots, making it a captivating and visually appealing addition to reef setups.
