Remarks: The Blue Flash Hap is a off throw of the German line-bred variety of the Pink Flashand was created when we were breeding our Pink Flash and started seeing the blue offspring. We then separated out the babies showing the blue coloration and we are now line breeding the Blue Flash strain. There is a quite of bit of difference between the Blue Flash males, some with more blue, red, and yellow on the body. So if you are looking for something new to add to your all male peacock or hap tank, these would be a great choice!

They are fairly peaceful cichlids and make great tankmates for Peacocks and Haps. Females are a grayish blue, while males have a primarily bright blue body with red iridescence on the scales and a yellow blaze. It is important to know that this is a man-made strain of fish and there is a lot of difference in the colors of these fish.
