The cloprostenol is a synthetic analogue of PGF2a, low toxicity and rapid clearance from the body. Its action gives rise to morphological regression of the corpus luteum (luteolysis) and consequent drop in peripheral concentrations of progesterone, followed by an increase in the secretion of gonadotropins and the return to estrus and normal ovulation.

Active ingredients: Each ml contains – Cloprostenol sodium (equivalent to 25 mg of cloprostenol) – 26,3 mg

Indications of use: Undetectable estrus (silent heat)
In cows at the peak of lactation, there may be poor signs of estrus, despite normal ovarian activity.In such cases, females should be evaluated by rectal palpation to confirm the presence of a corpusluteum. After confirmation, treat them with 2ml of Clocio and monitor for estrus before performinginsemination.
It is important to emphasize that before introducing any animal into a reproductive program, anevaluation of the animal should be carried out, especially concerning its body condition andnutritional status.
The effectiveness of the product is related to the presence of a functional corpus luteum, so Clocioshould not be applied to animals before the 5th day post-estrus or after the 16th day post-estrus.
Below are two examples of protocols that can be used:
a) After an examination confirming the presence of a corpus luteum (rectal palpation or
ultrasound), administer a dose of Clocio, and during the next estrus detection, proceed withartificial insemination or natural mating.
b) Observe estrus for six consecutive days and apply a dose of Clocio on the sixth day to animalsthat have not shown estrus. On the next estrus, proceed with artificial insemination or naturalmating.

Storage: Store the closed packaging, in cool and dry place at room temperature (15 C to 30 C) away from sunlight.
