Reef Safe with Caution

The Kiri Triggerfish, a rare and deepwater species found only around Kiritimati in the Central Pacific, is a unique and relatively peaceful triggerfish suitable for reef aquariums. Though generally reef safe, larger individuals may prey on ornamental shrimp, so tankmates should be chosen with care. This fish thrives in well-oxygenated tanks with moderate flow and a varied diet of meaty frozen foods. Initially shy, it quickly becomes interactive and adds a distinctive charm to advanced aquarium setups.

These fish are for saltwater aquariums only.

Measurements are measured from the tip of the head to end of the tail.
